Ayr Belleisle Golf Club was first established in 1928 and currently has a senior male membership of approximately 200, and a small junior membership of approximately 20. The club is an affiliated member of Scottish Golf and the membership is open and welcoming to new members.
An adult joining fee of £65 is payable in addition to an annual subscription which is currently £50.
Summer competitions, (March – October), are played over the championship Belleisle course and Winter competitions (Nov – March) over the shorter Seafield course. Members can play their competition round on either a Wednesday, Saturday or Sunday, with the option to participate in General Play rounds for handicap at any time.
The club organises the Belleisle Cup, which falls on the 1st Sunday in June every year. This long standing and prestigious competition is open to low handicap golfers and is the opening event in Ayr Golf Week.
There is also an annual Belleisle Open which is held at the end of July, and open to all handicap categories.
As well as the regular competitions the club participates in the Ayrshire Golf leagues in both the scratch and handicap sections. These matches whilst competitive, are fun events and gives members the opportunity to play and meet golfers from other courses
During the course of the year the club arranges social matches against other local clubs and with the ladies and junior sections.
The club also has a small but active junior section with a broad age range of mixed ability golfers. The junior section is very well organised and we are proud to have developed a number of excellent golfers who have gone on to win local, national and world events.
