Golf South Ayrshire’s new for 2018 Junior Coaching programme aims to enhance the lives of young people through playing golf with regular sessions held at Troon Links, starting on Wednesday 18th April.

The equipment needed to take part is very minimal; a pair of trainers with good outdoor grips, and clothing suitable to the weather conditions is all that’s needed. The rest will be provided on the day.

The Junior Golf Passport is a structured learning programme for children aged 6-12 years, endorsed by the PGA. The multi-layered programme progresses a complete novice golfer into a junior golfer ready for membership at a golf club.

The programme is delivered in 6-week blocks covering a subject each week, with a family festival in week 6 to allow the child and parent to play golf together in a fun environment.

Each 6 week block costs £25 and is payable upon registration.
