The facebook phenomenon ‘Golf in Scotland’ launched their US Masters Texas Scramble Series in 2015 and had an unbelievable first season with over 740 teams of 4 entering competitions throughout the country.
It’s back for 2016 in a slightly revised format. It’s now teams of 2 competing for the spectacular first prize
To win the trip of a lifetime to the US Masters, all you have to do is win 2 rounds of golf! Win the Troon Links qualifying event on Saturday 20th August and then win the final at Pumpherston Golf Club on 10th September.
The best scratch and nett scoring teams from each qualifying event will progress to our national final at Pumpherston Golf Club.
The best scratch and nett scoring teams from our final will be off to the US Masters in April 2017 to enjoy a week of golf and of course a trip to Augusta to experience the US Masters.
Your Golf Travel are sponsoring our event this season and our winners will enjoy flights, 7 night’s accommodation, transfers, 3 rounds of golf and tickets for Masters Sunday.
Our winners will also have some friendly competition on the course in the USA where they will be battling it out on the fairways against our qualifiers from England for the Masters Trophy.
You only need 1 golfing partner to take part this season and with spaces at the Masters for the best scratch and best nett teams everyone has a chance of making it to Augusta.
With qualifying events all over Scotland you should be able to find an event close to home, however with the prize up for grabs you might want to play in a few events and try out some fantastic new courses at the same time.
